Sinraptor

A largish theropod form the late Jurassic of China. It's now stipulated that this animal is the precursor of the carcharadontosaur line.

  1. Your art is great, as always.
I am curious about how do you manage to get this much up-to-date information on dinosaurs. Is there a source of information that you would suggest? I would like to learn too.

  3. Daniel,

Over on my blog list I just put in some good dinosaur blogs, some by actual paleontologists:) They usually have the latest information, I also watch yahoo science news and read blogs over on science blogs. When all that fails there is always the dinosaur mailing list and google:)

Thanks Mark. I think I used an okapi as the inspiration on the colors:)

    Best,

    Brett
